How to Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. You can delete your account using one of the following methods:
Option 1: Delete from the App
- Open The Federation app
- Go to your Profile
- Tap Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll down to Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
- Send an email to support@worldeconomicfederation.com
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your account
- We will process your request within 7 business days
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, bio, profile picture)
- All posts, comments, and reactions you've made
- Your stories and selfcast videos
- Direct messages you've sent
- Group and space memberships
- Your followers and following lists
- Notification history
- Bookmarks and saved items
What Data May Be Retained
Some information may be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records: Payment history for tax/legal compliance (up to 7 years)
- Security logs: Basic access logs for fraud prevention (up to 90 days)
- Legal holds: Data subject to legal proceedings
⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please make sure you want to proceed before requesting deletion.
